چکیده

Ionic liquids are a very important class of compounds due to their remarkable properties and wide range applications. On the other hand, capillary electrophoresis is also gaining importance in separation science because its fast speed inexpensive nature. The use ionic continuously. present review article describes applications electrophoresis. This general aspects electrophoresis, optimization separation, mechanism toxicity liquids, as well future perspectives, have been discussed. It was observed that not much work has performed using liquids. realized could revolutionize analytical science. Briefly, there great need for better more effective separation.

Ionic liquids as background electrolyte additives and coating materials in capillary electrophoresis

Now that many scientific investigations focus on ionic liquids (IL) to establish their potential in different chemical processes, their application for the separation of various classes of compounds in capillary electrophoresis has also been recognized. ILs have been used as background electrolytes in aqueous and non-aqueous capillary electrophoresis for the separation of a number of different ...

Chiral ionic liquids for enantioseparation of pharmaceutical products by capillary electrophoresis.

A chiral ionic liquid (IL), S-[3-(chloro-2-hydroxypropyl)trimethylammonium] [bis((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)amide] (S-[CHTA](+)[Tf(2)N](-)), which can be easily and readily synthesized in a one-step process from commercially available reagents, can be successfully used both as co-electrolyte and as a chiral selector for CE. A variety of pharmaceutical products including atenolol, propranolol, wa...

Buffer capacity, ionic strength and heat dissipation in capillary electrophoresis

The composition of background electrolyte (BGE) in capillary electrophoresis (CE) is important for both selectivity and efficiency. Although the importance of pH and ionic strength predominates, attention should also be paid to specific conductivity, heat dissipation and buffering capacity. At a given pH/ionic strength combination, several buffers can in principle be used. Preference should be ...

Nanoscale capillary freezing of ionic liquids confined between metallic interfaces and the role of electronic screening

Room-temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) are new materials with fundamental importance for energy storage and active lubrication. They are unusual liquids, which challenge the classical frameworks of electrolytes, whose behaviour at electrified interfaces remains elusive, with exotic responses relevant to their electrochemical activity. Using tuning-fork-based atomic force microscope nanorheologi...
